    JOB TITLE: Senior Financial Analyst

    LOCATION: Boise, Idaho

    CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time / Exempt

    SALARY: Competitive Wages Based on Experience


    SUMMARY:  Impact Group, a dynamic and growing leading grocery broker in the CPG industry, is looking for a high performing technically biased senior financial analyst to join its growing finance team. This position will report directly to the VP Finance and work as an integral part of the team focused on building and refining revenue estimating and reporting and analysis capabilities. This role will be responsible for determining revenue inputs for our annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles, helping to facilitate clean and accurate month end close processes related to revenue recognition for our brokerage business, and assisting with post-integration analysis for our completed company acquisitions. This position will also be instrumental in supporting the continued growth of the Company by enhancing and increasing the functional capabilities of the finance department as it relates to our revenue processes.


    The senior financial analyst will have the ability to work cross-functionally with our accounting and business analytics teams to improve reporting and analytical efficiency, reduce redundancy, and drive accuracy. This will be a growth position as our business and the finance team continues to expand.


    • Under the guidance of the VP Finance, review and improve revenue processes, including variance analysis, client performance trending, KPI development and tracking
    • Under the guidance of the VP Finance, build and execute a detailed project road-map to replace manual reporting with automated solutions as well as define and deliver new business reporting needs
    • Support the CFO and business leaders with ad hoc reports to drive business insight and appropriate decision making, as needed
    • Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends
    • Participate as required in acquisition integration, as applicable


    • Excellent technical and functional ability including: Excel, MySQL
    • Demonstrated experience with revenue reporting, budgeting, and analysis
    • Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with peers and superiors
    • Team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and be comfortable in a smaller corporate environment
    • Ability to work as a partner to the VP Finance

    • Bachelors degree in finance or related field
    • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in finance or accounting
    • Experience in the sales and marketing or CPG industries is preferred, but consideration will be made for experience in similar/comparable industries.
