    JOB TITLE: Retail Associate
    LOCATION: Lewisville to North Dallas / Denton area
    CLASSIFICATION: Full Time (non-exempt)
    SALARY: Competitive salary based on experience

    Impact Group is a dynamic and growing leading grocery broker in the CPG industry.  With multiple locations and teams situated strategically across the United States, we provide food broker representation for thousands of products from a wide array of remarkable CPG industry brands.

    The Retail Associate’s primary function is to stock product for a specific client manufacturer in retail store chain.  This would take the form of additional facings on the shelf, new points of distribution, such as endcaps, side tackers, or spot displays.  Work requires knowledge of items sold and ability to work effectively with store personnel. 

    Responsibilities

    • Develops and maintains good working relationships with key retail store personnel.
    • Follows up on customer requests and complaints, relating this information to Retail Sales Manager for Store.
    • Responsible for insuring that all authorized products are in stock and on the shelf.
    • Rotates stock, clean and stock display and price merchandise as appropriate.
    • Achieve new item and existing item placement according to client speed to shelf guidelines.
    • Maintains full distribution and display of products and performs such duties as checking date codes, ensuring adherence to approved plan-o-gram.
    • Operate equipment (e.g., pallet jack, box cutter, forklift, mop, broom) according to company guidelines.
    • Use proper case cutting techniques to cut and sort Grocery stock loads and handle product carefully to avoid damage.

    Qualifications

    • Interpersonal ability - getting along with and being accepted by clients, customers and colleagues; dealing with conflict well; sensitive to cultural conventions; while maintaining a sense of humor.
    • Basic math skills (counting, addition and subtraction).
    • Ability to learn, adapt and effectively apply new information.
    • Demonstrated ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

     

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum high school diploma or its equivalent.
